Biography

Born and raised in the rolling countryside of Worcetsershire, Janine started her art career  at a young age. Always drawing and painting her favourite animals her
passion for widlife and art ran side by side.
From an amateur artist through her school years, Janine then realised her dream to study fashion and art at college.
After a successful start at college Janine went onto study interior textiles at
Somerset College of Art and Design. Here is where she honed her craft and developed skills to take her forward in her art career.
At university she found the freedom to explore different mediums in art,design and textiles.

Winning the international ‘Transform the Future’ competition was a career
highlight with Kevin McCloud from Channel 4’s Grand Designs gave praise for Janine’s competition entry, saying:

‘’This entry above all others focused on the competitions theme of sustainability, it also created a bold, vibrant visual impact on the existing space and the process of discussing the brief with the student clients and incorpurating their feeback was realisic and thorough.’’

After University Janine has had success at home and away. Having recently returned form Austalia where she worked as a jewellery maker and designer.
Now a freelance designer Janine is eagerly designing surface pattern, textiles, jewellery and still enjoys painting and selling her artworks.
